Gateau aux Chocolat



Ingredients:

½ cup butter
2 eggs beaten
2 cups brown sugar
pinch salt
2 cups flour
2½ tsp baking powder
½ cup cocoa powder
1 tsp vanilla extract
1 cup milk

Method:

·    In two separate bowls measure out the dry sifted ingredients and the wet ingredients
·    Gently stir in the dry ingredients into the wet ingredients trying to not over mix for this will make the cake dense and heavy
·    Bake in a well grease spring form pan at 375f for 30 minutes or until your fork comes out cleanly
·    Let cool completely before icing
