Fevress Jaunes dans la Moutarde


Ingredients:

6 quarts cleaned yellow beans cut into thirds
6 cups white vinegar
6 cups brown sugar
1 cup dry mustard powder
1 cup a/p
2 tbsp celery salt
1 tsp tumeric

Method:

·    Cut cleaned beans into thirds and blanche in well salted water
·    In a med sized sauce pot bring vinegar and surag to a boil
·    Mix together mustard powder, flour, celery salt, and tumeric together. Add a little water to the mix to form a paste then whisk the boiling vinegar into it slowly to well incorperate and cook for 5 minutes to cook out the flour
·    Toss in the beans, stir well and pour in sterilized jars and seal immediately
