Dill Pickles


Ingredients:

1cs small cucumbers (20-30)
2 bunches fresh dill
1 bulb garlic peeled
13 cups water
3 cups vinegar
8 tbsp kosher salt
4 tbsp brown sugar

Method:
·    Wash cucumbers and cover with ice water over night in the fridge
·    Wash and sterilize mason jars
·    In each jar place dill, garlic and cucumbers (you can cut the cucumbers into wedges if you like or leave whole)
·    Bring to a boil, water, vinegar, kosher salt, and brown sugar
·    Poor over cucumbers and seal but not tightly
·    Place in a pre-heated oven at 200f for 20 minutes let cool before sealing lids

This recipe can be made with small carrots, that have been blanched and cooled first
