Galettes a la Melasse et Gingembre


Ingredients:

6 to 8 cups a/p
1 tsp salt
1½ tsp cinnamon
2 tsp ginger
½ tsp nutmeg
1 cup butter
1 cup sugar
1 whole egg
2 cups molasses
2 tbsp vinegar
1 cup boiling water
4 tsp baking soda

Method:

·    Mix together all dry ingredients
·    Cream sugar and butter together and add eggs mixing well.
·    Mix in molasses, and vinegar and baking soda that has been dissolved in water
·    Mix in dry ingredients
·    Spoon out on parchment paper and bake for 8 to 10 minutes at 350f
